HOMELAND has been performing as a patriotic Christian vocal group FREE for well over a decade. We are dedicated to showing our troops how much they are appreciated for the sacrifices they make and we do it though our God given talents.

HOMELAND is comprised of four patriots who have numerous diverse talents. Larry Tidwell, Ed Jones, Boyce Smith and Carl Jones, a Marine Vietnam veteran, combine their talents as musicians, vocalists, recording engineers, song writing, composing, arranging and performing to deliver an array of patriotic, gospel, oldies rock n' roll and country classics. Some have said that HOMELAND sounds like the Oak Ridge Boys with Elvis as their lead singer :) "Thank you very much!"

HOMELAND has played at military bases, corporate events across America and at events with celebrities such as Paul Revere and The Raiders, Nancy Sinatra, Billy Ray Cyrus, R. Lee Ermey and others. We have been on national TV including the Outdoor Channel, ESPN, History Channel and some 226 radio stations on Voice of America. Our largest concert was in Washington, D.C. at several Rolling Thunder Memorial Day events with some 350,000.

We also played during the Marine Honor Society in D.C. attended by the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chief's and some 28 Medal of Honor recepients. When we were finished, we met three Vietnam Vets and their families who missed our concert. Their airline flight was delayed because of a major power outage. We met them coming up the escalator at the Hilton at arround midnight and when we learned about their delay...so we broke out our guitars and played a little concert for Frenchy Quesnel, his two Marine Vietnam buddies and their families right there in the lobby. Needless to say..there were no dry eyes among those tough combat Marines (or us.)

You are probably asking yourself "How do such nice guys do that for Free." We thought you'd never ask -- but since you did!!!  We do it by selling our CD's, performing at churches for love offering, charging to do corporate events and individual support from people like you who want help us help our troops. We thank each and every one of you for your support!  Please, Please, Please help us help our troops; forward our website address to everyone on your email list!!

Check out our BLOG and listen to our musical video's HERE!!

As we stated, our group has many diverse talents which also include producing our own CD's, DVD's and even developing our own website. Now....we are BLOGGERS too!

We have no clue what"Blog" stands for (we said we were talented --- not smart. Larry said he remembers seeing "The Blob" when he was a teenager and Boyce said he is almost sure the Army destroyed it with flamethrowers. Ed and Carl are sealing the doors of our studio so it won't consume our master CD's.) but NOW....we have our own Blog site.

We get a lot of request from across the planet and other universes wanting to know more about us...this is a good way to "Blob with us" directly and VIEW OUR MUSICAL TRIBUTE VIDEOS!!  YES, you can now see some of our most requested musical videos (we do those too) online. Take a quick look and "Blob" us http://homelandhitsusa.blogspot.com/

For As Long As God Gives Us A Voice To Sing, Our Veterans Sacrifices Will Be Known.

THE TIME AT THE VIETNAM WALL IS

A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to
"The United States of America," for an amount of "up to and including my life."
That is a sacrifice that too many people in America do not appreciate. There is a lot of truth in the words found written on a C- Ration box in KheSahn, Vietnam;
"For those who have fought for it, life has a value that the protected will never know."
God Bless Our Troops!
